What Does My Session Fee Pay For:
The session fee is due at time of booking and covers the pre-consultation, photographer's time and talent during the session, post production work, and your custom in-person viewing session.
Where Will My Session Take Place:
Sessions may take place in-studio or at the location of your choice. I always recommend choosing locations that reflect you as a family. I'm always willing to help with location suggestions if needed, or you can also browse the Studio Z galleries for ideas and inspiration.
What Should We Wear:
Simple, classic clothes and solid colors work best for photographs. Small prints can also work, but avoid large, bold print designs or large graphics. Try to coordinate with complimentary colors. Avoid anything too formal or uncomfortable, and make sure all styles are flattering to each person's body type. Please refer to gallery images for more clothing ideas.
Can You Retouch Boo Boos, Scars and Wrinkles:
Yes! We can also whiten teeth, remove distracting background objects, and more. (Additional fee may apply for very intricate editing needs, but this will always be discussed in advance).
What Happens After My Session:
Images will be prepared for an in-person viewing session which will normally take place 2-4 weeks after your session date. Orders placed during the viewing sessions will normally be ready for pick up within 2-5 weeks. Albums, canvases, press products, and framed wall art may take a bit longer, but are worth the wait! For Christmas orders, your session should take place by early November at the latest.
When Do I Pay:
All session fees are due at the time of booking. When placing your order, we require a minimum of 50% of your purchase to be paid at the time of the viewing session, with the remaining balance due at the time of pick up.
How Long Do You Keep My Images:
Gallery images are kept for one year. After the first year, they are archived and kept for an additional year. Any orders placed for images which have been archived will incur a $50 additional charge.
